Dark, warming lager. A roasty toasty porter with dark fruit and licorice notes, fermented and matured with lager yeast for maximum smoothness.

Very small head that fades to rim bubbles immediately. The brew is near black where no light passes.
More semisweet chocolate than cocoa powder.
Rich, intense bitter chocolate flavor but it's still very smooth. There are faint caramel notes but the beer is quite dry. Moderate body for the style with a neutral level of carbonation. In the background is some light coffee. The swallow draws out a pumpkin-like (?) flavor that adds to the overall experience. Longer, semibitter aftertaste. Overall, this is an exceptional Baltic Porter.
