Dark brown and murky with no light passing easily. Very thin head with minor bubbles along the edge. Random, minor spots are left behind.
Sweet, raisiny aroma.
The flavor is similar to the smell with lots of raisin on the tongue. Rich body, as expected, with fine (and lower) carbonation. There's a nice hop kick that's unusual for the style but still a great add for this beer. This is an easy-to-drink beer and the booziness, while present, is still soft.
