Poured with an inch of head. Foggy and yellowish brown in colour, Small black bits floating and settled to the bottom. Smells of sweet tropical fruit. Tastes hoppy with carbonation, slightly bitter, fruity. Really enjoy the smell a nice beer.

On tap at the Beagle Pub on Vancouver Island.
Pours hazy pale golden with a very durable, and very creamy white head.
The appealing aroma has some citrus.
The body is too thin but nicely carbonated.

355ml can - they don't specify what sort of melon they used, so I guess it will have to be a surprise!
This beer pours a murky, pale golden straw colour, with a teeming tower of puffy, loosely foamy, and mildly fizzy off-white head, which leaves some chunky splattered lace around the glass as it rather lazily subsides.
It smells of grainy and bready cereal malt, some indistinct exotic fruitiness, and plain earthy, musty, and perfumed floral hop bitters. The taste is gritty and crackery pale malt, still hard to pinpoint citrus and tropical fruity notes, some damp minerality, estery perfume, and more understated leafy, herbal, and floral hoppiness.
The carbonation is quite tame in its bored-seeming frothiness, the body a so-so middleweight, and mostly smooth, with nothing really existing here that could have been cause for concern. It finishes trending dry, the malt starting to waver, with nothing else to fill the lingering void.
Overall - yeah, I'm not really feeling so hot about this one. The melon/fruit essences are ephemeral at best, and that perfume character kind gets on my palate's nerves after a spell. It's a light, unassuming offering, better suited to sipping on the patio, sans the introspection.
