My second time trying this brew, I had picked out a can last Christmas, then looked in vain for more. It has resurfaced just in time for this Christmas, so I have stocked up with a dozen.
Pale Ale based, which other breweries use, as it takes on additional flavour notes really well.
Golden pale ale colour, pours from a can, quick and easy head with light legs. Head dissipates quickly, mothfeel is full bodied, and the flavour just kind of overwhelms. Goes down easy, I didn't notice any real difference as the glass warmed up. Irish cream is more in the smell than the flavour, and coffee is just right in the mix to set it up from the baseline pale ale flavour. I have added it to my Christmas rotation. Sells in packs of six (only cans as far as I can see) and i thought it sold also as part of the Spectrum Chocolate Box which is hard to find, but it is not part of the mix.
