Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a semi-light yellow to straw sort of color with a quickly dissipating little white foamy head that didn't leave any lace (same as I often see in most wild ales, so I'm not worried).
The aroma had a well constructed blend of pineapple sweet to some freshly cut grass and some funk/basement-like aromas in which slide on into a nice sour blend. Light breadiness.
The flavor was mainly sour without the pucker factor as the pineapple and breadiness seemed to serve a very nice balance. Basement wasn't there so much, but that didn't bother me. Funk was there making a good effort to combine with the sour and ultimately blending very nicely on into the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it due to the sour factor, but once again, wasn't distracting. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt as projected.
Overall, very nicely done American Wild ale well worthy of having again.

Poured from the bottle into a snifter.
Pours a lightly hazy light straw color with one finger of bubbly head.
Aromas are tons of yeast and light notes of bread, biscuit and some pineapple.
Flavors are in line...tons of sour funk, with pineapple notes in the finish.
Mouthfeel was excellent and it finished medium dry,
Overall, a rather straightforward sour. Tasty and well crafted.
