This one pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This is pretty much a pineapple bomb on the nose, with some passionfruit, citrus, oak, and white wine.
The taste brings the same sort of feel - the pineapple character is extremely strong. There's also a good bit of funky citrus, and a slightly prickly character on the back end. There's some tropical fruit, maybe passionfruit or something like that, on the back end.
This is light bodied, crisp, and mostly clean, with a good drinkability to it.
This isn't my favorite beer from HoF, but it's still worth a try. I think it will probably age well, as the pineapple fades and the beer is allowed to funk up a bit.

Up front, big tartness followed by hay and mildew. Mid-palette, pineapple sweetness and acidity wrestle with each other, the funkiness now an afterthought. The cornucopia ceases at once, a buttery wine-like fattiness cutting through the acidity and leaving behind a pleasant dryness. A short and sweet gustatory fireworks display
The flavors here are enormous--balanced, intense, and fair to each and every component. So much of the deep funk I love in a great gueuze is often lost in fruited, barrel-aged wild ales. Here, though, everything, incouding the funk, hits overdrive
