Think of a chocolate stout, then replace that chocolate with 5lbs per barrel of everybody's favorite layered cookie. This Russian Imperial stout has a big dose of alcohol and a lot of dark fruitiness like a mince pie.

Crowler into pint glass. Pours a very dark brown with a brief light tan head that dissipates quickly. Initial impression is dark chocolate and burnt malts - no sign of Oreo cookies. Not nearly as sweet as expected. Mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side, especially for a RIS. Carbonation is light. Finish is clean and malty, but again not particularly sweet or Oreo-like. Not awful, but disappointing.
