Inventors Brewpub has grown up and recently relocated into a larger space that's right next to the marina in Port Washington. In the past, the theme reminded me of what I saw at Bottle Logic Brewing in my previous life in California; a science fiction themed atmosphere, but today most of that theme has been left in the restrooms with less in the brewpub itself. Inventors has impressed me with a few of their beers in the past, and even in their new space continues to deliver a good experience. The new brewpub is in a very large space with many booths and tables, a large outdoor patio overlooking the water, and a long bar which looks into the brewhouse. A busy Sunday afternoon, but I was able to grab a seat at a booth in the bar area. The huge windows which look out to the waterfront and the marina are well thought out and takes advantage of its waterfront location.
18 different beers on-tap and about 50 containers. Around 14 of the taps are house beer, with styles going from English porter and scottish ale to IPA and berliner weiss. The selection has certainly grown larger since the relocation, where I used to have half the house options. All the containers are guest beer with some quality options like St. Bernardus Abt. 12, Chimay, Weihenstephaner, and Third Space. The beer quality is still up there, and the glassware utilized is better than the standard, boring shaker pints used at other places (ironically, my partner got her bloody Mary in a shaker, but that's not beer).
There are servers for the tables, while for the bar area you must force yourself to squeeze into a space at the bar to order. There was a drink menu at our table, but no food menu, not even a QR code. It was busy and looked well staffed, but getting served at the bar was slower than I expected.
Port Washington's waterfront and main street are beautiful, and I love seeing that Inventors has picked a great location to continue to grow. It makes a great paring with Sir James Pub within walking distance.

This is a small brewery in Port Washington. It's shares a building with the local VFW. The taproom itself is fairly small and not the cleanest. Not really a place to hang out for more than a beer.

New brewery where brewers is going to brew many formulas of beers. He has a good selection of guest beers too. Pub food where his tap room may be small but adjoining room is sizable. Place has a view of Lake Michigan. Stout and porters i tried were decent. Cozy place.
