We initially brewed this thick, gooey Imperial Stout to celebrate our second anniversary with you as an Imperial Milk Stout. For 2022, we brewed the beer without lactose and we are delighted with the result. We still used an obscene amount of cocoa nibs and fistfuls of the finest Madagascar vanilla beans to create a silky, decadent, luxurious liquid you simply cannot miss.

Look: It pours brown with a brown head. Head retention is excellent.
Smell: The aromas are balance towards the sweet side with roasts and lactose. There are some vanilla elements with cocoa.
Taste: There are a combination of roast and coffee with cocoa. The lactose is noticeable with vanilla.
Feel: It has a medium full body with a smooth and creamy texture. The sweetness is offset by bitterness making the finish nearly neutral.
Overall, it is a sweet stout, but not overly sweet. There are some complex flavors and the texture of the beer is outstanding.

Inky black body, opaque; thin yet persistent head, dense and creamy, light khaki color. Big sweet, malty nose; toasted and charred grain elements; vanilla; mocha. Sweet cocoa and milk chocolate taste; bold bitterness; a smidge of vanilla sweetness; phenolic note. Heavy body, dense and slippery; slightly astringent; a touch of boozy sharpness.
