A single pour emptied the contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug. It's so blond it almost becomes gray-amber. It appears hazy to the point of murky, yet it doesn't seem overly dense. A modest off-white head was short-lived. No doubt, this is wheat and/or oats laden. The pronounced aroma is fruity, a blend of citrus and tropical, sort of like grapefruit and mango. There's more citrus bite than anything else to taste, maybe just a hint of additional earthiness. It's not too sweet, but the starches don't add much to its character and it ends up being a shallow bitterness. At least it's not overly bitter. Despite the lack of glass lacing, the body is acceptable, though certainly not noteworthy. Lacking a complex malt backbone, this drinks one dimensionally, without any enjoyable taste transitions. It's a little better than OK, thanks to a pleasant blend of hops. It carries its ABV well, especially for the lack of a malty contribution. Worth the try and the can's label was worth the price alone.
