A deceptively smooth Cascadian Dark Ale. Also known as a Black IPA, this batch was made with dark and debittered malts, and a touch of rye. We then hopped it heftily with Azacca, Chinook, Simcoe, and Columbus. The resulting blend of complex flavors gives notes of wild blackberries, orchard fruit, and pine needles.

on draft at the brewery, 12 oz pour
dark brown in color, cream colored head. aroma is mild roast and then big earthy, piney, grassy hops. nice balance of the flavors in the taste, fairly bitter. medium bodied.
