A special amped up version of a crowd favorite IPA first brewed in August 2018. Brewed with wheat, and oats, and double dry-hopped with mountains of pungent Mosaic and Centennial. Bold drippy notes of blueberry, pine needles, tangerine, and lemon zest.

Well Crafted Beer Co. "Censai"
16 fl. oz. can coded "28OCT2021"
$4.75 @ Kunda Beverage, King of Prussia, PA
Notes via stream of consciousness: Censai pours a very hazy golden body with an orange sheen beneath a finger's width of white foam. The head retention seems to be very good. The aroma offers sweetish and bready malt along with sweet apple, sweet berries, orange, and soft pine. On to the taste... it's not a whole lot different but it is fuller. There some additional floral character to it, as well as notes of passionfruit, guava, grapefruit, mango, and honey. It's on the sweeter side but there's still enough bitterness and hop bite to it that it's balanced and mainly dry in the finish. This is brewed with Centennial and Mosaic but the Mosaic seems to hit harder, at least for me. It's a good blend. In the mouth it's medium bodied, gently crisp, and then smooth. The head has held up well and there's some very nice lacing left behind. I'm pretty impressed with this but as I recall I was pretty impressed by everything that I've had from Well Crafted.
