An emptied pint can and now an Imperial pint glass nearly full of the can's erstwhile contents. Without much of a head, it shows a beautiful orange-amber color that's opaque. Hops dominate the aroma, with a blend of piney, earthy and fruity notes that seem to be on the dank side. To taste, the hops still dominate, but they've become juicier and far less piney. The body is moderate, without much malt contribution to the taste. This is excellently hopped, with quite a bite at the finish. It's a shame the malt isn't up to the task of balancing this out, or this would have been outstanding. The absence of glass lacing serves as proof to the shortcomings of the body. The ABV is nicely entwined into the overall taste. Good, maybe very good, but short of being great.

hazy opaque orange golden in color, thick white head. good head retention. Great big fruity hop aroma - mix of tropical fruits, citrus, berry. similar flavor, but nice underlying bitterness to balance the fruitiness. soft mouthfeel, fuller feel.
