Poured into a wide mouth, grip shaped goblet: color is straw, lighter than some Kolsch style, head is thin and dissipates quickly to nothing.

Smell is light, crisp, pilsner malt, grain and light biscuit, earth and herbal hops.

Taste is similar with crisp pilsner malt notes, grain, biscuit, earth and grass and herbal hops.

Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, low/moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness.

Overall a very good Kolsch style ale - malt and bread, crisp and notable hops.

16 oz can

Pours clear yellow golden color, white head. Easy drinkin, good balance not too sweet. A touch of grassy and fruitiness in the aroma. Thinner bodied.

From a 16oz can dated 5/9/20 into a pint glass.

Pours a nearly translucent golden yellow with about one finger of white head. Decent retention and an ever so slight amount of lacing.

Smells grainy with a bready sugary sweetness.

Taste is just a bit more muted than the smell. Some sweet grains with a bit of hoppy bitterness.

Mouthfeel is fairly soft and smooth, very easy drinking. Carbonation is a bit on the higher side. Nice light bitter aftertaste.

Overall, an easy drinker but with enough complexity to keep one interested. Another nice beer from Well Crafted.
