Pours a clear amber with soft, soapy head.
Smell is fruity and spicy with notes of pine, citrus, peach, tea and caramel.
Taste is fruity with nice sweetness from the solid maltbase. Notes of toffee, pine, citrus and brown bread with a solid bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth, sticky and well carbonated.
Overall, a terrific IPA, sort of a hybrid between English and American.

Copenhagen 15/10 2022. 33 cl bottle from VinSpecialisten, Butikstorvet, Billund. Green label in Tennent's usual design with a big red "T" in the center.
Pours clear, amber with a small white head. Settles as thin patches of foam drifting about. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with a light citric sourness. Sweet pale malts, caramel, toffee and bread. A bit of citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick oily, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate citric bitternes. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Dry finish.
Classic take on a India Pale Ale. A bit generic, though.

Look: It's copperish brown with a beige head and decent head retention. It's moderately carbonated.
Smell: Rye bread, molasses, bubble gum, ripe plum and a bit of alcohol
Taste: Simple European hops nicely balanced with the malt. I detect flavors from the malt that follow the nose with subtle ripe plum notes, that are similar to German bock beers, but with a more pronounced hop presence. The smell is a bit sweeter than the taste. The hops balances and bitters the beer, and the hops is always present in the taste, but the hops taste is not dominant like American IPAs.
Feel: Medium bodied
Overall: This is a nice European ale. The quality of the hops is European as opposed to American IPAs. I can't notice citrus or pine flavors that are common in American IPAs, for example. It's an entirely different type of beer than American IPAs (to note if that happens to be your frame of reference).

Deep amber. White head dissipates quickly.
Oxidized nose, hops still there but not strong. Little caramel malts.
Taste follows the nose. Medium mouthfeel.

Tennent's IPA revisited.
My wife bought this for me a few years back when I just started getting hooked on craft and American IPAs in particular. I was a bit disappointed at that time, was perhaps expecting more hoppiness.
Now as time passed by, I learned many things having had a few beers bottoms up. What I did not know then is that every IPA has a certain temperature when hops release their flavor into the brew and become full, as opposed to being subtle when too cool. This beer is no exception, becomes quite fruity when warmed up. Actually has hints of honey and flowers into it, very pleasant smell and taste I must say.
The other thing I learned was that you must try to find something good in every kind of (quality craft) beer - and this one does have enough to enjoy. Though might not be a West Coaster, it does not claim to be one and is very well made in Scotland. Was glad to have it again!
