From the small bottle purchased in Germany, it pours a clear amber color with a modest white head that reduces to a thin layer and leaves some lacing. The nose gets a pleasant malty scent. The mouth follows with an amazingly easy drinking and smooth brew that feels nice, looks nice and gives you a nice hangover if too much is consumed. Honestly, however, there is little distinctive about this beer.

An amazingly SHERRY flavoured beer! It smels and tastes both cherry/or the alcohol sherry/and tastes very pleasant. Not too overwhelming, not too sweet, just as good as a 9%+ beer should taste like! The cherry feeling elevates the whole experience quite a lot with the higher alcohol content as well. You don't really feel a "beer" but rather just an alcohol drink, but it tastes all good, the way it is. A heavy drink to enjoy,

Golden color with a thick off-white head with medium retention.
Aroma with notes of apple juice, some spices, distant booze and bread.
Flavor with notes of pears, apples, booze and raisins. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 9.3% is felt but it feels lower.
This is not bad considering the style, but still I did not find this pleasant enough for wishing to have another one.

After the one pint I had of this, I was unable to find it anywhere else. It was a fairly decent lager, though I dont taste anything "extra" in it. It did have an initial flavor that I cant quite figure out, like a peppery spiciness. Maybe that was it. Anyway, not too bad, if you can actually find it.
