Cerveza marrón con una cabeza espumosa de tamaño mediano. Ligera, de carbonatación media. Aroma a malta tostada y además un poco de chocolate. En boca es acuosa, con notas leves de chocolate y con un final un poco seco.

A: Poured from the 330mL bottle into a pint glass. The beer is a very dark brown with some light coming in on the sides when held to light. Head was almost 3 fingers, foamy, and tan with pretty good retention.
S: Smells like roasted malts, slight smoky character, coffee, and a surprisingly clean finish.
T: A lot of roasted malts, a hint of smoke and maybe meat in there, licorice, nuts. Bittersweet chocolate in the finish.
F: Slight carbonation, goes down smooth.
Overall: A decent stout. Might pick this one up again

I keep repeating that I'm not a fan of stouts but when I find something I like I really need to commemorate it with a few words.
Why I like this than an other stout? Because even it smells a bit roasted like it should, it isn't too dry and over-roasted like many other stouts feel. It has a slight coffee feel and a hint of dark chocolate to it, but altogether feels very natural and pleasant to drink. It is greatly different from a normal stout for having a distinctive taste and feels much more of a beer than a dripped roasted barley malt juice...
I recommend this to everyone who doesn't like stouts - this one is rich, exciting and so much different. It is worth giving a try!

Very enjoyable beer with a sweet dark chocolate start followed by a wave of roasted coffee finishing with a touch of bitter hop. There are notes of caramel and toasted nut. Very good silky mouthfeel and the perfect amount of carbonation for a stout.
Enjoyable brew that I wouldn't hesitate to have again.

Pours dark color with fast disappearing head and minimal lacing. Smell offers caramel, roasted malts, and hints of something herbal. Taste goes on the same lines with the smell. Aftertaste is a bit bitterish and the carbonation is medium strong.
Just to note that I had Tennent's Export Stout.

24 Sep 2015: From Carrefour. In Ikea's english pint glass. Watching Breaking Bad 5x02. Not good nor bad: doesnt taste to anything. Watery
24 Aug 2016: From Carrefour. In Ikea's pint glass. At lunch, with fideos soup + macaroni bolognesa. Different label. Now I find some taste here, chocolately, but a bit more sweet than desiderable. Still slightly watery

Dark brown with a ruby tinge, a finger of light brown foamy carbonation bubbling like taffy cooking over a stove.
Chocolate, molasses, malts, taffy, Guinness.
Brown paper bag, hint of cocoa, taffy, Halloween chews, coffee. Molasses and licorice in there as well.
Medium thick body, light foamy carbonation.
Found it at a corner shop in Nimenhamein, Chiang Mai. Very enjoyable. Being Scottish myself, I love the name and thistle emblems on the label. Drank May 17th, 2015.
