Tried out this place on a lazy summer afternoon.
It's a smaller operation, but there was a good selection of different sytles. They had run out of some beer (they just opened). It's a couple of benches and a main counter. It's a nice, relaxing vibe that's family friendly and you can actually have a conversation without having to scream at people. The owner/staff was very friendly. I found it to be a really inviting place.
The quality was really, really impressive. I liked everything I tried. I can't emphasize enough that the beer was quality. FAR too many new places are just on the bandwagon and churn out swill. This was true craft beer. Locally, I'd put this on par with Pig Minds and Generations.
I'm looking forward to going back. As they get into the swing of things, I think they'll be able to keep production up to avoid running out, and I'll be interested to see what styles they start making.
Overall, it's worth stopping by. I'd even argue it's worth a drive out to try if you're in the region.
