Got this one from hopsolutely this past summer.
From a 500ml bottle into a pint glass.
Batch #236
APPEARANCE: Pours out dark brown but 2/3 of the glass ends up as foam. This is after an extremely slow and careful pour. Tons of foam all over the place. Black body with insane amounts of carbonation. The head just keeps growing out of the glass, so I continuously try to scrape it off into the sink. This is a race against the clock.
SMELL: Cardboard. Sometimes burnt cardboard.
TASTE: Cardboard. Mostly burnt cardboard. Metal wrapped in wrapping paper.
PALATE: Light and super carbonated and foamy.
OVERALL: Clearly this is badly oxidized. Nasty and impossible to drink. After beating the self-replicating foamy head and chocking down a few sips of metal wrapped in wet, half-burnt cardboard, we called ‘er quits and let drain enjoy the rest to its heart’s content. Blech.

Nice sweet caramel roasted malt flavours; looks great with solid lacing. Aroma is subdued but mouthfeel is nice. A hint of vanilla-like flavour. Tasty.
