A dark German style lager has rich notes of bread, crust and toast, with a light roast character.

500 ml bottle from brewery - after loving this on tap there.
Pours a clear dark cola brown with reddish highlights - finger of creamy, bubbly khaki coloured head.
Aroma is malty and bready with strong notes of caramel, toffee, a touch of peat and perhaps just a hint of smokiness.
Palate follows with bready malt, toffee, brown sugar, and again a bit of an earthy peaty flavour - no significant bitterness. A hint of chocolate.
Creamy moderately full mouthfeel with bright carbonation and a rich toffee finish - sweet but not overly so.
Tiny brewery but this beer is top notch.
