Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours jet black with a nice amount of head that quickly goes away. The nose is decadent and awesome. Fudge, bourbon, toffee, a bit of maple, and some nice dark fruit. Blackberries comes to mind. The taste follows the nose. Smooth and creamy! Some nice chocolate and toffee hit immediately. The roasted malts emerge after a second and hang out in the aftertaste. Some coffee, tobacco, vanilla, and a bit of coconut. Campfire smoke, and some nice dark fruit. The alcohol does come through with a slight burn on the way down. It's 13% so it makes sense, but it's not overpowering. The mouthfeel is nice and creamy. Overall, I'm really digging this one. Would definitely buy another.
