Clear pale golden brew with abundant foam in the tall IPA glass. Pleasant grainy armoma with a whiff of lemon. Tastes of cereal with just the right modest bitterness to balance the slight malty sweetness. A bit of leafy hops, a touch of pear, and a grainy aftertaste. Overall this seems like the most honest and straightforward German Pilsner I've encountered. Quite delicious and a good reminder that simplicity can be elegant. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea's in Laguna Niguel.
