Decanted from a 12 oz (355 ml) can into a shaker pint glass; no production information.
A: Pours a hazy, amber color with explosive head formation laving a two to three finger, foamy white head, cap retention, and spotty lacing.
S: Grassy and grainy (more wheat that barley) aromas. Definite cherrywood and lemon) notes. A vegetal (?arugula) note evident late.
T: Semidry. Grainy and lemony with a distinctive spiciness (?thyme) giving way to a vegetal flavor. Bitterness evolved and becomes lighter as it warms.
M: Light bodied with robust carbonation.
O: Like the sentiments around this beer, but the tastes the thing. WHBBC is batting about 50% among those canned beers I have tried IMHO. This is a swing and a miss: inviting color and nose, the palate, not so much.
