Our 5th Birthday IPA is a Southern Hemisphere hopped IPA that is sure to be the perfect accompaniment to all your summer celebrations. Utilizing Motueka and Southern Tropic hops gives it bursts of passion fruit, mango, citrus, pineapple and tropical fruits. This IPA was also brewed with all Alberta malts from Hogarth Malting resulting in a pale appearance and medium body feel. It finishes with a lasting bitterness and refreshing zest.

On tap at the brewery and from 1 L howler day after their 5th Birthday celebration.
Pours a less than clear bronze colour with a finger plus of tawny tinged fine bubbly off white head.
Nose of grainy cereal malt, big notes of tropical fruit - ripe mango, papaya, pineapple and tangerine, ripe orange, and a floral aroma.
Taste follows - some grainy malt sweetness, over ripe tropical fruit - mango, papaya, pineapple and tangerine, orange, lime - finishing with a moderate dank note with spicy herbal bitterness.
Solid medium mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and a lingering spicy bitterness.
Definitely my jam - could easily throw this into their regular rotation.
