The cream ale is an easy drinking American style beer with broad appeal to those familiar with the craft beer and traditional domestics.

From a can in Springfield IL. A super smooth cream ale. Everything about it is low-key, from the sweetness, to the breadiness, to the alcohol. Gets even more interesting as it warms.

Pours a slightly cloudy gold with a fluffy white head. Has a nice smell of grainy malts with just a slight hint of grassy and floral hops. The taste is slightly breadier than expected with a nice just bitter enough finish to round out the sweetness. This goes down incredibly smoothly for a 6%. Overall a good cream ale and the best I can find next to spotted cow near me.
