Pours a dark mahogany brown with a creamy, luxurious medium tan head, the nose is all coffee, vanilla, and nutty aromas.
The taste is led by the coffee, but the vanilla and nutty flavors are worthy adversaries in the fight for control of this beer. It approaches too sweet, but pulls back, and has a full creamy mouthfeel to make it dangerously drinkable at 8.3% ABV.
This is my first beer from these guys, and is exceptionally well executed. Looks like another road trip is in my immediate future.
