Bit of a gusher. Pours cola black with a dark tan head that quickly fizzes away leaving nothing but some similarly-colored floaters. Highly effervescent.
Dark smelling leather, plum, cocoa, toffee and coconut.
Huge caramel and nougat in the taste, with corresponding sweetness layered over the darker flavors from the nose. Plum, leather, cocoa and cola. Bitter Baker’s chocolate in the finish struggles to compete against the caramel.
Lush, creamy, sticky feel with strong carbonation.
The massive sweetness in this is somewhat balanced out by the strong darkness, putting in firmly in the “highly drinkable dessert stout” category.
