The first in a series of single barrel-aged barleywines, this inaugural installment was aged for 15 months in a select Weller 12 Year bourbon barrel.

Brown sugar and brown bready malty, oatmeal raisin cookies, and a subtle bourbon barrel nose on this one! Taste follows very closely with a medium-bodied and subdued bourbon barrel finish. Showing a touch of age as the barrel notes have calmed down and there is just a faint int of oxidation on the backend...still drinking very nicely, though! Pop 'em if you got 'em!
