Double barrel-aged barleywine aged in a Weller Reserve bourbon barrel for one year, then transferred into a Starlight pear brandy barrel that previously held rye whiskey. Baking spice on the nose with anise, nutmeg, cinnamon, caramel and toffee in waves, and milk chocolate.

A - Pours a deep dark brown with a very thin off white head,
S - Aroma is toffee, raisins, cinnamon and caramel.
T - The taste is toffee, dark cherry, pear, oak, chocolate, caramel and a nice alcohol warmth in the finish.
M - Full body with low carbonation. Syrupy mouthfeel with a slick dry finish.
O - Solid Barleywine.
