A pub classic returns in Barrel Aged form- this breakfast stout was aged for 1 year in a Willet Rye barrel before being conditioned on Michigan Maple Syrup, Mostra Coffee and Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans. The nose is intoxicating espresso and dark chocolate. In sampling, we got coffee mousse, sweet maple and savory vanilla on the finish. Paired with Rye spice- we couldn’t be happier with how this beer turned out!

A - Pours pitch black with a thin tan head.
S - Aroma is black coffee, vanilla, maple and rye.
T - The taste is dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, maple, spicy rye and nice alcohol warmth in the finish.
M - Full body with medium carbonation. Oily mouthfeel with a slick dry finish.
O -Really solid. Coffee tends to dominate the flavor.
