500ml bottle. Bottled on 9/26/23. ABV 11.4%. Babe the Blue Ox. Enjoyed out of proper Giants Jones glassware
It's best to not make assumptions on Giant Jones beers before tasting them it appears. It didn't seem like a American barley wine at first style wise, but in the end it's a barleywine. There beers maybe slightly out of style definition.
It's hard to describe the flavors of this beer. But it tastes good and is interesting to drink. The beer is smooth, malty, slightly syrupy, Nice sipping beer. Abv is very well hidden. Slightly sweet over all but has bitter elements.
So what does it taste like? You will have get a bottle and taste it for yourselves.
4.16/5 I would like to drink another bottle.
Brewery tasting notes:
Malt is clean and clear with overtones of hot-milk cake and candied sugar. Grapefruit zest and candied peel are bright with undertones of blackberry and pine. Medium-high bitterness checks richness of malt. Dry finish, with graham cracker, grapefruit and dank notes lingering along with a crisp bitterness and some warmth.

Light brown/dark amber color. Slight haze. Great, creamy head that kept it all the way. Medium to full nose with deep roasted syrupy malt. Taste is deep roasted malt, syrupy with strong, almost acerbic, bitter finish. Creamy mouthfeel up front with strong bitter finish.
