Pours a bright Baltic amber, veering toward a definite red tinge; the sharply white head quickly dissipates. Aroma is of lemons and tomatoes. The vegetal/acidic taste is sophisticated and refreshing. The brewer styles this a “tomato gose,” likening it to a bloody mary. I was seeking a michelada vibe, and it didn’t let me down. Mouthfeel sharp. Lovely tomato dregs at the bottom of the glass, providing a garden-fresh burst of flavor.
