Copenhagen 2/7 2024. 33 cl bottle from Rewe, Süderquerweg, Hamburg. Light blue label with a drawing of a bearded Magician with a high hat.
Pours opaque unclear, golden yellow with a huge, fluffy white head. Stable. Settles as several cm thick crown of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of Stone fruit mingling with a tart citrus scent. Sweet peach, and apricot. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth and almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Dry, soft and bitter.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 6.5%, IBU 60. Golden colour, huge white head. Lovely fruity aroma of American hops (citrus and tropical fruits). The flavour has also fruity and piney hops, with a fairly sharp and bitter finish. Moderate sweetness.

Pours a clear amber with massive head, thick and fluffy.
Smell is piney and a bit soapy, with notes of rosewater and grapefruit.
Taste is piney and citrusy to start, but devolves a bit into something quite yeasty and soapy. Moderate, floral bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a decent IPA that doesn't feel quite finished.
