this one was just okay for me, a little overly estery to even phenolic on the yeast, just fermented too warm or something, and there isnt enough going on with the rest of the beer to offset that or cover it up, so it seems a little exposed to me, although those who like their hefe yeast overly expressive might like this better than i did. for me it lacked balance, and it seemed almost a little off on the ferment, but its still light and easy enough to drink one of, just not one i would go back to until they dial it in a bit, which i am sure they will next time around. its wheaty but also a little tannic, feels thin for the style, but is lifted up by nice carbonation. a little bit of astringency from the yeast in here on top of some familiar green banana and light allspice notes, but its overdeveloped in other ways, and doesnt quite fit in right here. simple beer, one they should have gotten a little closer to the mark on here, but they are still new, and it wont be long before all the beer is better than it is right now. id wait a little while on this one if you are a purist in this style...

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
