Kosmos 2019

L- Mid amber with a pink tinge. Some rising carbonation into 5mm snow white head.
S- Vague fruit note, more akin to cherry than kalamansi lime.
T- Different! Cherry+lime come through together as akin to sour cherry. The beer is meaty enough such that the fruit notes do not dominate.
F- Refreshing for a 9% beer, but there is no doubt this packs a punch.
O- An interesting and punchy brew. Very little info on the lable. In the UK this would likely come with a booklet titled 'Our story' attached. Here in Iceland you are left, with your 'Space Invader' graphics to figure it out for yourself - definietly better than some PR waffling on :)
'RVK Brewing Company - Kosmos 2019'. 750ml bottle IsK2019, intentionally the same price as the year (the staff told me), and a pretty thumping £13.50. Exotic lable featuring Space Invaders graphics theme. Bottle design says 'Kosmos Aromatobomban 2019. Imperial Grisette med Kirsberjum [cherry] + Kalamansi [perfumed lime]'. 9.0% ABV Batch #01, BB: 31/12/19. Ingredients: 'Vatn, maltad bygg, hveiti, humlar, ger, kitsuber [cherry], kalamansi [fragrant lime].
