Amsterdam 11/12-2015. 33 cl from tap on L'Opera Grand Cafe. Rembrandtplein, CT Amsterdam.
Pours amber orange with a white head. Settles as a 2 cm thick layer of foam. Massive lacing.
Aroma is sharp and sour. Fermented fruit and and tart berries.
Medium strong carbonation and watery palate.
Flavor is quite round and sweetish compared to the smell. Caramel and fermented fruit and berries. Sour aftertaste with a medium strong bitterness.
Actually quite ok for a beer from Heineken.

Draft in Amsterdam
Nice foamy fluffy 1/2 finger head that fades at a med pace, nice lacing, clear amber color
Nose sweet and fruity, apple, little white raisin, maybe pear, candy sweet, caramel reddish malts, toast
Taste sweet candy malt, toasted reddish malt grain, caramel, more fruits, little candied apple, fig, white raisin, etc, hint of bitterness that increases a bit on the semi sweet sticky finish, hints at alcohol
Mouth is med to fuller bod, nice fluffy carb, hint of booze

L - Dark amber, clear; white head
S & T - applejuice. That's pretty much all there is to this beer. Applejuice.
F - nothing of note.
O - tried it for the history behind it, being one of the oldest craft beers of the Netherlands. What a disappointment.
I wouldn't recommend this one

Amber colour with a unimpressive layer of foam. Smell of caramel and malt. Taste of caramel, malt and toffee, with some hints of citric. The taste is quite sweet, yet balanced. Surprisingly smooth. Not a very complex beer nor a very remarkable one, but very drinkable nonetheless.

Rich golden red, very clear. Lightly sweet with balanced hops. No head. Nearly odorless.

Amber colour, beige head that looks strong, good carbonation. Lacing in the glass.
Dominant smell of caramel and slightly roasted malts. Some floral notes in the background.
Taste is actually quite fresh. It's sweet but has some bitterness.
Drink is very smooth and easy going down.
A positive surprize. For the style it's very decent, and from this particular brewery it's a very good product.
