12 ounce can - $2.79 at Total Wine & More in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a copper-amber body with a tall, foamy, ivory-hued head. A few drips and dots of lace.
Smell: Pecan earthy nuttiness, toasty malts, slight tangy fruitiness and some heated grain.
Taste: Caramel dipped toastiness, a slight touch of cherry. Fairly dry throughout. Earthy pecans mingled with a faint touch of dark roast astringency. Remains fairly dry on the back half as you launch off a ramp of sharp carbonation.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-high carbonation goes beyond providing some crispness, instead becoming at best distracting or at worst worrisome for some unwanted, unwarranted refermentation in the can.
Overall: It's okay, I suppose. Easy on that carb stone, though, fellas.

I tried this beer at the Brewery. It's a one-off, that they did as a charitable offering. After drinking it, I immediately went home and tried a Lazy Magnolia Pecan - they taste exactly the same. It's good, but still finishes fast.
