Lack Luster Brew. There is not too much to say about this beer. Seems Half-hearted in all aspects. Looks are decent. Appears a medium dark rusty red with brilliant highlights. Very clear and seltzer-like with the bubbles. Cap of foam was thin. Aroma is plain as it can be. smells like beer. I cant detect any unique properties. Taste is Hop forward. Very Watered down flavor. No notes of Honey whatsoever. Rye Malt is undetectable. Tastes like a watered down amber ale, simular to a Irish Red ale. Over my time drinking this beer, I did find some aspects I like. You can drink this beer and ponder this beer enough to get some amount of underlying character of the malt. Kinda spicy, tangy, lightly roasty rye. Its difficult to even find those flavors. Everything is masked with Hops. Flavor of the hops are more aromatic than anything else. The Beer pretty much tastes like hoppy water. Ok, now for feel. Water is the feel. Carbonation is seltzer-like. Basically carbonated hop water. Overall, disappointed in this beer. Needs a over haul. More Malt and more Honey. Too watery, and hops where just down right nasty. No depth to this beer at all. If I could explain this beer, Its like a Irish Red ale and a Session IPA got together and made love with a gallon of Water.
