Nice place to relax and have a couple beers. The grounds are large, tucked in amongst wineries and rolling hills in Catawba. There is a long bar inside where you order beers. Outside there are a lot of tables and two “oast” facades on the grass amongst the hills and trees. The outside atmosphere is pleasant and charming. The only beer I tried was a Mexican chocolate variant of “Meet Your Maker”, and it was a pretty decent barrel aged stout. There were fourteen house beers on tap; I’d say the selection was ok. Overall I enjoyed the visit and would return again if I am in the area.

Visited this brewery on on first great adventure with our new Rig. Excellent place. Tons of room. Outside area is fantastic. Beer is average. Did not have any food but it looked amazing. I will definitely revisit.

Tucked away in a side rolling-hill area of Catawba Island is this amazing brewery. I ventured to this brewery in late August, expecting a manufacturing facility but finding a charming location instead. Busy, to say the least, the place looked more like a well-manicured golf course with the galley sitting around two-stone structures enjoying a nice cold, well-crafted, beer. One of the 'barkeeps' was quick to set me up with a 4-pack mix-&-match to go ($12.00). Unfortunately, I did not have time to try any food but from what I saw it looked delicious. With any luck, and GLW, I'll be going back this coming fall.
