On tap at Hopmonks in Sonoma today.
The beer pours a light hazy gold color with good head retention and lacing. The beer really looks pretty good, but this was to be as good as things would get. On the nose I get some light tropical fruit with onion and a hint of underlying dry grapefruit. The flavor profile replicates the nose, with the beer showcasing a dry, moderately bitter finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and soft on the palate, with a kiss of heat from the alcohol on the finish. Drinkability is OK, but the touch of heat on the finish is a bit off putting.
Shrug. This is a decent hazy IPA, but that's about the most I can say for it. This isn't something I'd want to order again any time soon, from this new to me brewery.
