It’s pretty good, grab a can or 4 when you go. When fresh it is hoppier than most distro milk stouts, but it fades with time and becomes much sweeter with a marshmallow fluff affect. The hops kind of meld into the malt and lactose (?) with age. I’ve had a couple of these but the one I’m drinking now, well the month part of the date code got smudged but it’s from August or September. The sweetness is much more present, that cleansing bright hop note has faded or mixed in. Definitely worth trying, though I might err on the “drink fresh” side of things (but I’m not necessarily a pastry stout fan so ymmv). When fresh it’s a bit crispier (in line with a drier, Irish Stout perhaps), but I’ve got no complaints either way. These folks can do no wrong.
