A thick and rich Imperial Stout. This beer is black in color and has an extremely rich malty flavor and aroma. Notes of roasty coffee and dark chocolate can lend to some bitterness to balance it out. The name was inspired by our head brewer’s dog who hangs with us from time to time.

Looks black with a tan head. Whispy lacing persisis.
Smells like a chocolate malt.
Tastes much the same with a hop bitterness in the background.
Feels thick.
Overall, very tasty and interesting.

Matte black with a creamy tan collar.
Smell is roasty nutty coffee, while taste too is roasty of cocoa, roasted nuts, bitter coffee and dusty earthiness.
Dry, with a medium full body and a light froth.
---
Having again seven years later--I'm surprised but happy to see them still doing decent business here--I get much the same notes as above, speaking to quality consistency, while accented by licorice and cola.
Really frothy for a stout, the medium-light body has a little heat in the exhale, though it's overall semisweet.
