32 ounce crowler, purchased at the brewery on 9/4/21. Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a mostly clear orange/amber color with not quite an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are OK. The brew smells like toasted malt, bready malt and some spicy hops. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some light apple and herbal flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall Märzen, worth trying if you get the chance. I did like it more on tap at Missing Mountain though.

Slightly foggy varnished acorn to burnt brown with a short but creamy khaki head settling to a thin chain leaving some bumpy arms of lace.
Nicely toasty semi-bitter malt meets a touch of nutty roasted corn with a little herbal grass via a crisp medium body finishing semi-dry.
In 2021, I noticed additional qualities I didn't previously notate, such as a touch of semisweet apple cider that was just a little unusual and detracting, but otherwise the softly frothy medium body also had a unique touch of redeeming amaretto. No change to my score.
