Taking their hobby of beer pro, the brewers at Dreaming Creek, roll out with a Citra and El Dorado hop infused New England styled IPA to prove that these new kids on the scene have a finger on the pulse of what hop lovers need in their lives.
Pale amber and firmly hazy, Dream Job introduces to the senses with a citronella scent of oranges and herbs along with a tropical and red apple scent. As its sweetness greets the tongue, a blend of honey, cereal and light butterscotch offers a sweeter offset to the the beer's fruity brightness.
As the sweetness rolls onto the middle palate, much of its maltiness lingers in balance of the hop flavors that reveal a burst of slightly over ripened oranges and a mango, pineapple backdrop. Apricot flavors rise before the ale trends spicy, resinous and earthy with a grassy chive, hemp and sun tea bitterness.
Medium bodied and eventually faint in carbonation, the ale sits on the tongue with residual weight as well as sugars. Its cereal character keeps the hop bitterness balanced while the ale trends medium long with those sprucy resins outlasting all other earthen bitternesses slightly.
