Copenhagen 16/12 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. People Like Us' logo-boy drawn in a straight white line on dark blue background. His head is opened and filled with fruit. Snow crystals in the background.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light odor of exotic fruit mingling with a dry austere, citric scent. Sweet peach, pineapple and hints of blackcurrants. Citrus and grape fruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Quite summer-like for a beer calling itself a Winter IPA. But then again you need a headful of fruit in the dark winter.
