NEW, IMPROVED RECIPE - SAME IMPORTANT PURPOSE
Pale Ale 330 ml. 4,5%.
Our beer developer has made some interesting recipe improvements, making this version - Frivilligbajeren 2.0 - a beautiful clear pale ale with a fruity nose (peach and pineapple) and low bitterness.

Copenhagen 9/6 2019. 33 cl bottle from Brønshøj Vinhandel, Frederikssundsvej, Brønshøj. What looks like a kid trying to draw a beer label in blue, red and gold. A big heart to signify that the beer is brewed in honor of people doing voluntary work.
Pours hazy orange amber with sediments racing around. Medium-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense, malty and surprisingly roasted. Caramellish roasted malts. Lighter notes of citrus and grass.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while.
More roasted and toasted than my usual Pilsener. But a nice drink.
