Copenhagen 7/7 2018. 33 cl little chubby bottle like always when the BRAW brand is involved. A lot of eyes staring at me from the label. The beer is described as a Kettle Soured NEIPA on the label.
Pours hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as a thin patchy layer of foam.
Aroma is intense. At first sniff it seems t be a combination of light IPA and something wild and funky. Some moderate sweet exotic fruit intermingling with strong citric sourness. Bonanza of citrus fruit, unripe berries and a little funk.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and prickly texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by quite strong sourness. Aftertaste is sour and fairly short. Finish is dry.
Nice take on a Sour Ale where you can actually smell the basic IPA underneath.
