Dark brown color where only the brightest of light will pass along the edge of the glass. Modest head that settles to rim bubbles. Brief runny bubbles.
Strong, deep Baker’s chocolate with a bit of powdered cocoa to the nose.
The flavor begins like the smell with Baker’s chocolate but quickly succumbs to an ashen almost smoky bitterness. This peaks in the swallow but dissipate in the aftertaste leaving a lingering dark cocoa. The body leans to the thin side with a decent carbonation level.

From a 16 fl. oz. can sampled on December 31, 2022.
The appearance is dark brown to about black with a luscious foamy tan head that slowly dissolves.
The aroma emits chocolate, dark roasted malts, vague vanilla, vague nuttiness, and an earthy hop profile.
Light to medium, smooth mouthfeel.
The taste is sweet, dark, roasted, and still some chocolate. An earthy hopped mild bitterness at the end.

Not a huge fan of this porter. The nose smells of dark malts, some burnt notes, and coffee that has been sitting around for awhile. The nose was not all that enticing. The look of the beer is pretty good, thick pour, lacing, deep dark brown. The taste is bitter chocolate, sharp dark malts, zero sweetness in this beer, and that lay about coffee flavor again. A little too dry for me, too sharp, not enough chocolatey sweetness, just not a beer I'm going back to. Medium bodied, a bit fizzy coming out of the can, not at all boozy, which is a plus.

Poured from a can, dated 11/26/19
A solid Robust Porter. Plenty of roasted malts, coffee and chocolate aromas and flavors. Good amount of bitterness with some spicy hop character. Earthy and malty, excellent flavors and medium full body with a smooth finish.
Very pleased that I picked this up, I will definitely look for more from this brewery!

Pours a large dense creamy foamy bubbly tan head with great retention, slow fade and rocky, thick lacing, dark almost black beer with clear mahogany light sneaking through
Nose is pretty nice, robust roasty porter, roasty malts, little toasted grain and coffee, nice rich cocoa and dark chocolate, hint of baking spices
Taste smooth rich creamy porter, roast again out front bringing some bitterness and coffee, roasted coffee beans, toasted grain, dark chocolate and rich cocoa, touch of baking spices almost anise like, mild spicy hops, med bitterness increases it med high on the drier finish
Mouth is med to fuller bod, rich creamy, soft med to a little higher carb
Overall solid robust porter, well done
