12 ounce bottle - $1.79 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Dispenses a clear, amber-golden body with a bubbly albeit very short-lived head.
Smell: A bit of a fruity sniff, some toast, some ground grains and a meager hint of spicy hops.
Taste: A taste of toast and raw honey with a sweetness that's restrained. Slight fruitiness. Minor herbal hop character, relatively low bitterness. Drying, tangy finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: A simple rendition, but it makes for easy-drinking in the winter, given the snap of unseasonably mild mid-70's we've had here lately.

The body exhibits a dark copper color; thick, dense head. Decent caramel scent; faint berry-like fruitiness. Faint sweetness with an subtle apple-like taste; metallic bitterness. Flat, watery mouthfeel; mostly dry finish.
This beer really misses the mark with flavor and mouthfeel. A sweet, malt character with taste and mouthfeel is sorely lacking. In fact, the taste seems more like cardboard with its dearth of grain sweetness. The dry finish is also totally off the mark for an Oktoberfest beer. It's unusual for Full Sail to be so off on a style. Maybe I just had a bad bottle, but if not, I can't recommend this beer.

Gorgeous dark orange-amber color with a veil of lacing in the Stella Artois goblet. Quite sprightly on the tongue. Pleasantly sharp for a malty beer. Warm malty flavor with some toasted taste and a distinct sweetness. Something like butternut squash with a resiny note. Really, this could be a pumpkin beer. From the 12 oz bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham, Wash.

Picked up a single from TW Arrowhead in mid-September for $1.49. Best by 01/2016.
Beer poured orangish with a smallish head that dissipated quickly.
Nose is bready and biscuity.
Taste was sweeter than normal for the style, looking more for the counter balancing of the Germanic hops to make the flavor more traditional.
Feel is medium bodied and fairly smooth.
Overall and easy drinking beer that was pretty tasty but did not quite hit the style mark.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a deep amber-orange color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam. The head fades very fast, leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is very sweet of a caramel and lightly toasted bready smell mixed with a little bit of some molasses and honey. Along with these aromas comes a light smell of some grass and a little bit of a corny smell, leaving one with a rather sweet, but pleasant Oktoberfest aroma.
Taste – The taste begins as the nose would suggest with a sweeter bready and caramel taste mixed with some other flavors of a light honey sweetness. The honey and caramel grow stronger while the roast seems to dwindle a bit, giving an even sweeter taste to the brew. A little bit of hay and grass mix in with the taste at the end, leaving one with a lightly roasted and rather sweet and bready taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is medium in chewiness and thickness as well as being of a moderate carbonation level. The feel is really quite nice for the mix of sweet, light roast, and very light hop, which is actually very nice for the marzen style.
Overall – This was a sweeter and tasty Oktoberfest overall. They did a very nice job for the style for the lighter price tag that full sail has. Overall a great Oktoberfest buy. Quite tasty and enjoyable.

Look : Honey colored, 70% transparent, with a bubbly head
Smell : Sweet roasted malts, some honey, brown sugar. Very faint nose, though.
Taste : Toasted malts, and a big hop slap to the jaw. Ends with some light breadiness.
Feel : Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. Ends with alcohol warmth.
Overall : I was less than impressed with O'Fest. Many better Oktoberfests out there for the choosing.

12oz bottle into tulip
Look - Crystal clear, dark ruddy amber. The 1 finger head was promising at first but dissipated into nothingness and stayed that way. Very little lacing... not a great look by any stretch.
Smell - Not a strong smell overall, but detecting a definite fruity-boozy note that seems a bit out of place, as well as some caramely sweet malts and a hint of sulfur.
Feel - Pretty nice, smooth carb off the bat with a bit of snap to it keeps the medium body feeling nice and light. This is easily the beer's strongest asset and saving grace.
Taste - A strange apple-like fruity note mingles with some very light, toasty, caramely malts. The booze flavor is still there and brings a bit of astringent fruity character of it's own. Vague notes of skunky sulfur. Not much hop character to be found - thankfully just a touch of herbal hop bitterness/flavor brings a bit of drying towards the semi-sweet finish. Kind of an odd flavor profile, but not terrible. As the beer warms the booze and skunk becomes much more prominent.
Overall - Probably the weakest O'fest I've tried thus far. Apple-like fruitiness? Noticeable booze? I can understand the light hopping, but light on the malts too? Overall, this beer is not terrible, but definitely seems very flawed to me.
