Fresh Hope Pale Ale. 32 oz growler bought from B2 in Salem OR. $8 Deep golden ale with a frothy white head. Very fresh and strong aromas of hop..citrus , spruce and PNW dankness. Taste very similar but the hops take on an orange peel thing that is pleasing. Nice smooth medium carbonated mouth feel. A very accessible and good fresh hop

a real well made beer, but as the wet hops stuff goes, how fresh can this be? it seems like maybe some of the hops have dropped off a little bit, but this is still drinking really nicely right now. full sail doesnt get enough love since they went all in on the session stuff, but they do still make some great beers and this is one of them. a burnt orange color, mostly clear, with a full inch of white lace head in the shaker pint, a nice looking glass of ale indeed. the hops are interesting, more oily than expected, honey textured almost, with some of that floral sweetness too, vegetal and full of fresh growing plant matter, thats the wet hop aspect here. a little orange but less citrus than others, and some grain sweetness and body to balance moderate bitterness in the finish. its beautifully balanced and quite vibrant, bigger bodied for the style, fine carbonation, very very drinkable. not many wet hopped beers left in the market, so enjoy this one while its here. one of the better full sail beers i have had in some time!

Bottle from Boise Co-op. Pours out a nice deep golden body with tight creamy head. Beautiful! Soft hoppy aroma picks up in the taste. Creamy smooth consistency, velvety, gentle bitterness, tasty malts. This has it all. Just damn near perfect.

Bright, golden amber in color with a bubbly, light tan head. Streak lacing. Aroma is light citrus and tropical fruit with hints of caramel malt. The flavor is orange and grapefruit with a balanced blend of malt. Some floral and grass notes a well. Crisp and dry with a citrus hops aftertaste. Probably one of the better fresh hop beers this year, & definitely one of the better beers I've had from this brewery.

12oz brown bottle, sample from the brewery.
Gorgeous crystal clear golden hue, excellent lacing on top. Smells of citrus zest, fresh cut grass, and a bit of caramel. Lot of hop flavor, crisp with a solid malt backbone. Medium bodied and smooth. Citrus rind, dankness, pith, and zest on the palate. Bready malt in the middle with a hint of caramel. Finishes with more fresh cut grass.
Very well put together, I really dig these Fresh Hop Ales.

L: Amber-gold with 1/2" white head, and some lacing.
S: Rich pine and grapefruit nose, slight booziness detectable. Peppery and citrusy note of lemon oil.
M: Rewardingly juicy and slightly oily, with a zesty carbonation that is not hidden by the alcohol or buried by the huge flavors.
T: Great big piney knuckle sandwich wearing grapefruit rings on its fingers. The freshness of the hops is obvious. Peppery lemon oil hits on the finish. Malt is mildly sweet but distinct.
O: A love song to the hop harvest and a testament to the brewers grasp of their art. This could have easily gone lopsided and out of balance, but the hop, malt, booze and carbonation all work together here.
